Sometimes life's journeys take place right in your own home. In my case, I spent today journeying through boxes of stuff that I do not want anymore. But the good news is that most of this stuff is still useful. Take a gander a what I have found. If you want any of it (and I know who you are), let me know. I will bring it to the next Meet n Greet. If you want any of this stuff, leave a "dibs" comment on what you want and/or email me. 1) Soap Making kit
Sold to clara_girl for $0.00! I have no fscking idea how I came to acquire a soap making kit, but low and behold, as I was digging thru my boxes of stuff. *bam* soap making kit. Staring me in the face, saying "let me free, let someone make soap with me..." You want it? It's yours. 2) Tye Dye kit (makes 5 shirts!)
Another one taken by clara_girl Hey, check this out. You can be the cool kid with his/her own homemade tye dye T-shirt. Groovy, huh? (white T-shirt and/or drugs not included. Go get your own, hippie.) 3) The Duct Tape book
I don't think I've actually ever read this book, but I am sure that a few of you may be able to use this book for good (or for awesome!) -- Just check out this one random page. What a smart way to control bird cage crap! 4) Star Wars C-3PO rubber stamp
Is it old skool Star Wars merch from the 70s? Still in the case? Nope, think again. This sucker is copyright 1997. Still, a solid 10 years old, probably. (Originally $2.97 retail. Yours for free. What a bargain!) Taken by eHawk! 5) Cliche Halloween mask
Again, I don't know how I came to acquire this thing, but there it was, staring back at me..... Scaring the bejeezus out of me. Still has that new mask smell... (Come to think of it, I don't think that smell ever goes away... That's kinda freaky in and of itself...) 6) Happy wooden body massager thing
I think someone gave this to me for Christmas one year. It was used for all of... Hmm... I don't think it's actually ever been used. Guess what? If you take it, you'll be the first one ever to use it. 7) Plastic baking-powder-powered diving submarine
Yup, just cram some baking powder in the conning tower and toss into the nearest fish tank and watch as the submarine dives and surfaces over and over again until all the fish in your tank are dead (because the baking powder has destroyed the delicate pH of your fish tank water.) Minutes of fun! (baking powder and replacement fish not included.) 8) Microsoft flightsim joystick with a ridiculous amount of buttons and dials Bought this baby 10 years ago when I got my first PentiumII processor. Used it to play all those cool flight sim games. I think this still works, but it only connects up to the old school game ports found on the back of sound cards (and some older motherboards...) 9) Stack of 1000 English vocabulary cards
Well, at least there were 1000 cards in this box originally. The girl who gave them to me lost a few of the cards or kept them or something. She was a bit neurotic as I recall. Hours of fun with this... Ever play 52 card pickup? Well now is your chance to play 987 card pickup. Sure to be a crowd pleaser. Dibs called by eHawk. 10) Corded Touch-tone phone and kitchen wall jack adapter thingy
Still have a land line and rotary phone? Not gonna adopt one of them fancy cellular phones that all these punk kids are using these days? Well, I have just what you need. The next step in telephony technology. That's right kids. A touch-tone phone and some kitchen wall adapter from the 1990s. Who wants it? 11) Kitchen word magnets (computer edition)
Over 300 individual magnets to clutter up your kitchen fridge or stove, except that this is the "computer" edition. My favorite one? "Cybersex" (*snicker*)
